Not bad place for walk but footpath wet and dirty. Not good for walks with prams. Nice playground for kids.

It's cool for a walk around, parks are good for the kids to blow off some steam, all round the place is tidy and doesn't cost the earth to buy things 👍🏼

Nice place to walk. There are 2 lakes one with a small sandy beach
They water actives.in summer. Ducks and swans to feed. They allow fishing which toy inquiry about in the cafe or beach shop

Nice little water park. Free parking and loads of spaces (mid-week in winter helped but it was a glorious day).
The paths could do with a bit more TLC as they were very muddy in several places. It was easier to walk on the grass around them but it is the time of year when puddles sit for ages.
Very dog friendly.

It's a wonderful place lots of activity for kids and lovely cafe right at the entrance waterside. Amazing view and I would encourage all of you to visit once.

It was quiet when we went last Saturday. Kids loved the park. The only negative was that the kids got nowhere fast on the slides. They were laughing at how slow they moved down them🤣.
Good car park and benches to eat our picnic. They have 3 benches under a roof. No rubbish on the floor. Ducks were happy and plenty for the kids to explore 😊

An easy mooch for myself, live very close park is well maintained . Cafe is cheap as chips for drinks etc why carnt more be like this instead of wanting to rip people off..

It can be a bit hit-and-miss.
The park itself could be better presented, and the water is - as many have said - filthy most days.
The complaints about the algae etc do not hold much water when there are signs covering the entire park saying the water contains algae and people are not to enter, alas there are always people who break the rules.
The wildlife there is limited to a few species of water-based birds but this is to be expected due to the location.
There are not a great many places to park, so maybe leave the car at home for this one, however there are buses that run regularly nearby.
There are sometimes people there with impure intentions, but they are often removed quickly enough and don't often become a problem.
The food served in the pavilion, is surprisingly tasty for the price-point, however not much better than one would expect at a motorway 'greasy spoon'
Alcohol is served, and mostly comes in plastic beakers, but is very reasonably priced and the staff seem to be knowledgeable about their products.
It may not be the best place to visit, but for me and my partner at least, it is now - and will regularly be - a place we spend much time and make many memories. Just avoid it on bonfire night if you value eyes and ears.

Really clean and well kept park, great for kids and dog walks
